Something terrible happens between two friends on the night of their high school graduation, and they vow to go their separate ways forever -each shaped by this horrible event. Ten years later, one has become a career criminal,while the other, still wracked by guilt, enters the ministry. He serves in the small country church of Waycross, a town on the edge of dying out. The criminal -on the run & needing a place to hide -breaks the decade-long promise and roars back into his old friend's life.
